About

Located in the Fayetteville, TN area – I’m a photographer looking to create tangible proof of our most astounding memories.

Photographing everything from weddings to fashion to fine art and beyond, I’m a photographer on a quest to conquer it all. I graduated with a degree in photography from Middle Tennessee State University in 2009. I started college as a vocal performance major with dreams of being a famous opera singer. However, I soon discovered that saying you want to be a famous opera singer is like saying you want to be a dinosaur when you grow up.  The switch to photography was the best decision I ever made, and I never felt more at home than when I first picked up my camera. Since then, my Nikon and I have been inseparable.

I grew up a military brat and have moved around a lot in my life.  I’ve never gotten “comfortable” or “settled down” – pretty much ever.  However, with the help of my husband, we have finally made it to a place where we are ready to build our future.

I want to conquer every different kind of photography and help others to do the same.  I’m not just your average wedding/portrait guru – I love to push the limits in my dabblings with fashion, portrait, event, illustration, fine art, and architectural photography.  I hope that by learning these different disciplines I become more well-rounded as an artist, and that’s what it’s all about! My passion is my work and preserving of memories, and there is nothing more priceless than that.

I just had the very exciting opportunity to open my very own studio in downtown Fayetteville which now offers not only a great space for studio portraiture, but also a gathering space for the artistic community.  Along with a home base for my photography adventures and a great space for editing, we will also hold photography classes for budding enthusiasts and have opportunities for sharing your own work at community art gallery events! I am finally living my dream and bringing photography to my community in any way I can.

From here – I find myself on a mission.  A mission to change society’s perceptions about photography, grow exponentially in my art, and to bring others along for the ride. I want to share my passion with the world and create tangible and astounding proof of our greatest memories.  I want to save the world from the predictable, and I need all of you to help me do it.
